Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Version 2026-10-21. This policy explains what personal information Wisdom Vault collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Overview
Wisdom Vault ("we", "us") respects your privacy. By creating an account you consent to the practices described here. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not collect more than we need to run the platform and pay referral rewards.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: your full name, email address, phone number and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store passwords in plain text).
- Payment information: payment confirmations, amounts, references and payout phone numbers processed through our payment provider. We do not store full card or mobile-money credentials.
- Referral data: the referral code you used, the code you share, referral relationships and the status of bonuses.
- Wallet and transaction records: your Course Wallet and Cash Wallet balances, withdrawals, and the transaction history needed to explain them.
- Usage data: pages you visit, content you access, sponsored content you watch (including the date) and similar activity used to operate the platform and calculate rewards.
- Technical data: device type, browser, IP address and timestamps, used for security and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- Consent records: the fact that you accepted the consent summary, the date and time, and the version of the text you accepted.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account, membership and renewals.
- To process payments, verify payment proofs and manage your wallets and withdrawals.
- To operate the referral programme, including calculating and paying bonuses to your Cash Wallet.
- To credit Watch & Earn rewards to your Course Wallet and prevent duplicate claims.
- To send you account-related communications by email or SMS about payments, membership and platform updates.
- To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, duplicate accounts and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Consent
When you register, you are shown a consent summary covering membership, the two wallet balances, referral rewards and withdrawals, and you must accept it before your account is created. Your consent, the date and time it was given, and the version of the text you accepted are recorded on your account. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service and your account may be closed. We keep the record of your consent so we can show what you agreed to and when.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary:
- With payment processors and mobile-money operators (including PayChangu) to complete membership payments and withdrawals.
- With service providers such as hosting and messaging providers that help us operate the platform, under confidentiality obligations.
- With authorities or in legal proceedings where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
6. Data Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as needed for legal, accounting or security purposes — for example financial records, withdrawal records and records of consent. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including password hashing, encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) and restricted access to personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly if a security issue is found.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information (you can update most details in your account).
- Delete your account and the personal data we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Withdraw consent at any time, as described in section 4.
- Object to or restrict certain processing where the law allows.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Children's Privacy
The platform is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or you must have the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children without such consent.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the service or the law changes. The version and date at the top of this page show the current text. Where a change materially affects how we use your information, we will notify you. The version you accepted remains recorded on your account.
11. Contact
